Players initially have the ability to navigate through the tropical island map in the game. Once they enter, they can pause to view the entire map in detail, along with a brief description of its features.

Here's a breakdown of the map:

1. Black areas represent rocks that sharks cannot swim through.

2. Red Xs indicate obstacles that can only be destroyed by high-level sharks.

3. The remaining parts of the map consist of seawater.

Upgrading the map grants access to letters and daily treasure chests, adding more excitement to the gameplay.

Collecting all the letters spelling "HUNGRY" in the sea transforms the shark into a huge and invincible beast for a brief period, allowing it to devour anything in its path.

Gameplay involves controlling the shark in its hunting spree. The type of shark determines the prey it can hunt, and its life value constantly decreases, necessitating continuous hunting.

Players can determine the hunting and obstacle-crashing capabilities of their current shark model by clicking on the question mark symbol next to the shark's interface.

Certain actions hasten the shark's loss of life:

• Attempting to consume creatures unsuitable for the current shark model, especially jellyfish, which are particularly harmful and should be avoided in the early stages.
• Mines pose a fatal threat to sharks. Avoid them at all costs. However, if you possess diamonds, you can unlock Trevor to defuse mines.
• Ingesting rubbish costs lives, although there's a chance of acquiring diamonds from it.
• Prolonged proximity to mud-leaking barrels is hazardous, especially in the Arabian Sea map where oil spills can be highly destructive.
• Other human-induced dangers include attacks from divers, motorboat collisions, and police shootings onshore.

Resources in the game primarily consist of gold and diamonds. Gold is primarily earned at the end of hunts, based on the amount of prey consumed, survival time, and points scored. Diamonds are limited and can be obtained through logging in, watching ads on Weibo, and occasionally through hunting in the sea.

For pets, the game shark can be accompanied by a companion to aid in combat. Early on, the kraken is recommended as it protects against jellyfish's unnecessary damage. Players without diamonds can opt for a rat shark baby, which assists in hunting flexible fish and provides additional rewards through total destruction or shoals.
